(SAN ANTONIO, Texas) – Arlington-based homebuilder Steve Wall starts the New Year 2006 in full swing, jumping into the San Antonio and Austin housing markets with grand openings in two neighborhoods, Hunter’s Pond and Brookside Estates.

The “Your Idea of Home” Grand Openings begin at 10:00 a.m. January 21 in the Hunter’s Pond Neighborhood located at 2206 Bigmouth Hook, San Antonio, Texas 78224 (in cooperation with a development-wide celebration) and continue on February 25 in the Brookside Neighborhood, located at 164 Caddis Cove, Kyle, Texas 78640. Plans throughout the day include special presentations by local community groups, tours of completed models, and light refreshments.

“This is a very exiting time for our company. We are offering fresh, appealing designs for homebuyers,” says Steve Wall, President and CEO. “Our sales in December surpassed our projections; so, we are anticipating a very strong spring season.”

Mr. Wall founded Wall Homes in April of 2005 backed by a $50 million commitment by New York-based Warburg Pincus and reinforced the coterie of accomplished industry executives that joined the enterprise throughout the spring, summer, and fall. The company is offering a large variety of single-family detached and attached homes in the $110,000 to $280,000 price range. To date Wall Homes has over 3,000 lots under control and over 60 sales on the books, a notable start that bolsters the unique offerings the company is supplying to the market.

Hunter’s Pond homes range 1195 to 2348 square feet. Standard interiors include ceramic tile entryways, cultured marble vanities, elegant Moen® fixtures, and overhead lighting in all bedrooms. There are creative exterior design elements like covered front porches, ACME® or Hanson® masonry fronts, rear glass French doors to 5x5 patios, and six foot stained cedar wood privacy fences (to rear corners). Prices in Hunter’s Pond range from the $110s to the $140s.

Likewise, Brookside Estates will include special interior and exterior home amenities, with opportunities for new buyers to contribute their own ideas to plans for the overall neighborhood. Floorplans for Brookside vary from 1163 square feet to 2064 square feet. Prices range from $120s to $140s.

“During the Saturday grand openings at Hunter’s Pond and Brookside, homebuyers will discover the unique designs Wall Homes has developed to make our company a trendsetter in the homebuilding industry, as well as a great value,” said Jerusha Jaitapker, Director of Marketing for Wall Homes.

Homebuyers can expect thousands of dollars in special incentives available during the weekend activities on select inventory. Also, donated prizes from several national suppliers include great items from Moen®, Shaw Carpeting, Whirlpool®, Trane®, Hope Lumber, and Sherwin Williams®,” according to Mrs. Jaitapker.

Additional “Your Idea of Home” celebrations will be occurring in other Texas cities on the same Saturday in Weatherford and Red Oak (both in North Texas) and Magnolia and Porter (near Houston).

Wall Homes is also planning exclusive REALTOR® events for early 2006, in addition to developing a special REALTOR portal for the company web site. The portal will serve the professional residential real estate community by providing details about new home inventory, incentives, special events, and other pertinent information.
