(HOUSTON, Texas) – Arlington-based homebuilder Steve Wall has begun the New Year by introducing Wall Homes to the Houston area with grand openings in two neighborhoods, Durango Creek and Cumberland Crossing.
The “Your Idea of Home” Grand Openings begin at 10:00 a.m. January 21 in Durango Creek, located at 6631 Durango Creek Drive, Magnolia, Texas 77354, and Cumberland Creek, located at 19071 Painted Boulevard, Porter, Texas 77365. Plans throughout the day include special presentations by local community groups, tours of completed models, and light refreshments.
“This is a very exiting time for our company. We are offering fresh, appealing designs for homebuyers,” says Steve Wall, President and CEO. “Our sales in December surpassed our projections; so, we are anticipating a very strong spring season.”
Mr. Wall founded Wall Homes in April of 2005 backed by a $50 million commitment by New York-based Warburg Pincus and reinforced the coterie of accomplished industry executives that joined the enterprise throughout the spring, summer, and fall. The company is offering a large variety of single-family detached and attached homes in the $110,000 to $280,000 price range. To date Wall Homes has over 3,000 lots under control and over 60 sales on the books, a notable start that bolsters the unique offerings the company is supplying to the market.
The Durango Creek neighborhood will introduce homes with 1366 to 2147 square feet of living space. Standard interior features include ceramic tile in all wet areas as well as luxury baths including separate garden tubs and showers, elegant Moen® plumbing fixtures, and cultured marble vanities. Also included are gourmet kitchens with energy-efficient Whirlpool® appliances (range, dishwasher, microwave with vent and hood), and WILSONART™ laminate counter tops. Prices in this neighborhood range from the $120s to the $150s.
Likewise, Cumberland Crossing will feature similar standard interior amenities as well as creative exterior designs, including elegant mahogany front doors with leaded glass, Acme® brick on 3 sides (first floor only), quality Sherwin Williams® paint, 30-year Owens Corning® shingles, carriage style garage doors, and 6 x 8 concrete patios. Floorplans for this neighborhood vary from 1366 to 2147 square feet. Prices range from the $120s to $180s.
“During the Saturday grand openings at Durango Creek and Cumberland Crossing homebuyers will discover the unique designs Wall Homes has developed to make our company a trendsetter in the homebuilding industry, as well as a great value,” said Jerusha Jaitapker, Director of Marketing for Wall Homes.
Homebuyers can expect thousands of dollars in special incentives available during the weekend activities on select inventory. Also, donated prizes from several national suppliers include great items from Moen®, Shaw Carpeting, Whirlpool®, Trane®, Hope Lumber, and Sherwin Williams®,” according to Mrs. Jaitapker.
Additional “Your Idea of Home” celebrations will be occurring in Texas on Saturday, January 21, in Weatherford and Red Oak (DFW area) and San Antonio and continuing February 25 in Kyle (near Austin).
Wall Homes is also planning exclusive REALTOR® events for early 2006, in addition to developing a special REALTOR portal for the company web site. The portal will serve the professional residential real estate community by providing details about new home inventory, incentives, special events, and other pertinent information.
Wall Homes was established in 2005 to offer value homes with a focus on architectural style to first time homebuyers as well as first and second move up homebuyers.
