(ARLINGTON, Texas) – In just nine months, Arlington-based homebuilder Steve Wall has propelled his new company, Wall Homes, from start-up to ready-to-sell in 12 Texas neighborhoods.
To celebrate, Wall Homes has scheduled “Your Idea of Home” grand opening events in early 2006---first on January 21 in the cities of Weatherford, Red Oak (both in North Texas), Magnolia, Porter (two near Houston), and San Antonio and continuing on February 25 in Kyle near Austin.
Mr. Wall founded Wall Homes in April of 2005 backed by a $50 million commitment by New York-based Warburg Pincus and reinforced the coterie of accomplished industry executives that joined the enterprise throughout the spring, summer, and fall. The company is offering a variety of single family detached and attached homes in the $110,000 to $280,000 price range.
“After spending the better part of 2005 planning and organizing the business, we are very excited to actually be building these innovatively designed homes that truly break the mold,” said Mr. Wall, President and CEO. “We’ve listened to the marketplace and paid close attention to architectural design and style for those buyers purchasing a home for the first time or in the move up stages. Customers want to create their idea of home, and we’re making it happen.”
Throughout the Saturday grand openings, Wall Homes staff and visitors will explore models and experience the options that set these designs apart, according to Jerusha Jaitapker, Wall’s director of marketing.
“This is an ideal time to meet our teams, see these remarkable floor plans and designs in each neighborhood, and enjoy light refreshments,” said Ms. Jaitapker. “We’ll have thousands of dollars in special incentives available on select inventory, and several national suppliers have donated prizes, to include great items from Moen®, Whirlpool®, Trane®, Pactiv® and Sherwin Williams®.”

To date Wall Homes has nearly 3,000 lots under control and over 30 sales on the books. “We are receiving positive feedback from prospective buyers who have toured completed models and those who have purchased after seeing renderings and blue prints of homes under construction,” said Steve Wall. “December is typically slow for sales industry wide,” he added. “We received confirmation of our efforts when we sold 13 homes during the first weekend of this month.”
Wall Homes is also planning exclusive REALTOR® events for early 2006 and is developing a special REALTOR portal for the Wall Homes web site. The portal will serve the professional residential real estate community by providing details about new home inventory, incentives, special events, and other special information.
Wall Homes was established in 2005 to offer value homes with a focus on architectural style to first time homebuyers as well as first and second move up homebuyers. Neighborhoods throughout Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio offer a variety of single family detached and attached homes. Based in Arlington, Texas, Wall Homes is on the web at www.wall.com.
