(HOUSTON, TEXAS) – With just one year under its belt, Wall Homes is on-track to nearly double its Houston-area neighborhoods over the next eight weeks, increasing its number of home sites in the area by nearly 76 percent.
With five subdivisions in the Houston area currently, Texas Based Wall Homes, plans to open four additional neighborhoods within the next two months.
“The new neighborhoods will mean a big jump in our total number of area home sites,” said Benny Hollis, Division Vice President for Houston. “To date, we have 399 home sites in Houston, and we’ll add 302 more lots.”
Scheduled to open over the next eight weeks are Lynnwood in Baytown; Lanai in Mont Beliveu; Spring Meadows in Pearland; and The Parks at White Oak in Willis.
Wall Homes held public grand openings at two of its Houston neighborhoods in late January: Durango Creek, in Magnolia, and Cumberland Crossing, in Porter. Since then, the company has opened Forest Heights, in Alvin; Bentwood at Bay Colony, in Dickenson; and Eagle Ranch West, in Katy.
“Our rapid growth shows that buyers are as excited about our products and neighborhoods as we are,” said Steve Wall, President and CEO, from company headquarters in Arlington. “It’s certainly something to celebrate, but for us, it’s just the beginning.”
And what an encouraging beginning it’s been, according to Mr. Wall.
Mr. Wall founded Wall Homes in April of 2005 backed by a $50 million commitment by New York-based Warburg Pincus. Since launching the company just one year ago, Mr. Wall currently lists 177 new homes under construction and a total of 159 sales and 39 closings across its neighborhoods in Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio.
“We’re looking to close over 500 homes sales by year end,” said Mr. Wall.
The company’s single-family detached and attached homes are designed to meet the needs of first-time homebuyers and those in the move-up stages. The homes range from $110,000 to $400,000 and emphasize architectural design and homebuyers’ individual styles.
“Customers want to create their idea of home, and we’re making it happen,” said Mr. Wall.
